Abbey Aluminium commenced operation in 1984 serving the needs of builders who required the services of a small, fast, flexible and efficient glazing company.

Although Abbey has always remained small, the other constant has been an ability to undertake projects from the smallest jobs, to glazing some quite significant landmark sub-regional shopping centres. In 2011, Abbey changed its corporate structure to facilitate the entry of new shareholders, and a new director, Lewis Thomas and also acquired the company name of AbbeyGlaze Pty Ltd. In early 2019, the decision was made to re-brand as AbbeyGlaze which better reflects who we are and the work we do. With the new name and identity, we are also moving into new markets. We will retain our work in retail, hospitality and commercial but we are also looking at expanding our work in the premium architectural end of the residential market.

Abbey’s presence in the market is defined by its size and flexibility. Abbey has undertaken many large projects, but has retained a unique flexibility to provide economical solutions for smaller projects. The smaller size of Abbey ensures that a particular staff member will always take responsibility for each project.

Abbey is certified as an Accredited Glazier (Reg ACP20) with the Australian Glass & Windows Association. This accreditation confirms our commitment to maintaining the highest possible standards at all times

Abbey’s core of permanent staff can be supplemented by trusted contractors and part-time staff as required.

Abbey is happy to work with builders looking to develop and value engineer D&C solutions to individual project requirements.
