Fabricator-Joiner
This position involves cutting metal from cutting plans, optimising use of metal, fabricating frames & sashes, cutting in locks and assembly of finished suites. Certificate 3 preferred but not essential.
Glazier-Installer
Take delivery of frames on site, install frames according to all Architectural documentation, Abbey Installation standards, AWA-AGGA Advisory standards and Australian Standards. Applicant should hold a Certificate 3 or equivalent.
Estimator
Take off from plans. Be able to read specifications and schedules. Working knowledge of Logikal estimating software preferred. Responsible for pricing work, negotiating final price with Builder and handing over project to Supervisor. Will also prepare Variation documentation as required.
Supervisor
Responsible for scheduling manufacturing in the factory, liaising with Builder for installation programme and for ensuring compliance of all work with quality standards. Will conduct all site measures for manufacture of frames. Will liaise with Estimator regarding Variations to the contract works.
